Trustees can’t even visit the schools in their own wards, and board meetings happen online with too much happening out of public view. Transparency and accountability should be the rule—not the exception.

I’m a proud grandmother of eight and longtime Calgarian who knows how vital strong public schools are to our city’s future. My kids went through Calgary Public Schools, and now I’m watching my grandchildren begin their own journeys—I’ve seen firsthand the impact great teachers and schools can have.
With over 30 years in commercial real estate and years of service on education and regulatory boards, I bring practical experience in governance, planning, and ethical leadership.
I’m running for school trustee because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and shine in the most favourable learning environment possible.
